Photographs are valuable sources for Baptist history. Images come in all shapes, sizes, and formats and bring history to life by attaching visual representations to people, places, and historical events. The Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives’ photograph collection includes over 10,000 images of individuals, churches, mission activities, and denominational events. Below are several categories of selected images from the collection for your viewing and use.

If you use the image in a publication or production, you must obtain permission from the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives. There is no fee for using the image but proper citation is requested. If you require an image not listed in the gallery or need an image of better quality, please contact the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives staff.
